TS Transmission Mechanism (TM) - Braking System (BS)
The trolley braking system (BS) is described by a sequence of actions and states.
State 4: Trolley coming to rest with load at Bay 2, braking system.
Action:
- The trolley reaches a mechanical stop at Bay 2 and comes to rest; then, the dish and plate are manually fixed in place
with pins,
as follows:
- Fix dish in position with the two dish pins at the right and left of the dish
- The pins are operated manually in sequence
- This is done as the trolley arrives at Bay 2
- In a similar manner, fix the plate in position with the two plate pins at the right and left of the plate
- The pins are operated manually in sequence
Note: The same method of braking applies when the trolley arrives back at Bay 1. A description of the braking system at Bay 1 will be provided at a later date.
