TS Transmission Mechanism (TM) - Transition of the Trolley Between Bay 2 and Bay 1
TS Transmission Mechanism (TM) - Transition of the Trolley Between Bay 2 and Bay 1
The transition of the trolley between Bay 2 and Bay 1 is described by a sequence of states and events.
State 6: Empty
trolley is in transit between Bay 2 and Bay 1
B2: (Bay 2 states)
- The operator withdraws the left and right dish pins (2 pins).
The buffer springs expand upwards pushing the plate and, to some extent, the dish up. The rack attached underneath the plate travels upwards as well.
The pinion then rotates thus activating the belt-pulley mechanism. The drive wheel on the ground starts rotating and the trolley moves.
- The trolley travels from Bay 2 to Bay 1 (state 6)
- The trolley arrives at Bay 1 (state 7)
- The operator engages the two plate pins
- The trolley is at rest at Bay 1; all plate and buffer springs are in the relaxed mode.
(state 1)

that is state 6,
