TS Transmission Mechanism (TM) - Transition of the Trolley Between Bay 1 and Bay 2
TS Transmission Mechanism (TM) - Transition of the Trolley Between Bay 1 and Bay 2
The transition of the trolley between Bay 1 and Bay 2 is described by a sequence of states and events.
State 3
and State 4: Loaded trolley is in transit between Bay 1 and Bay 2
B1: (Bay 1)
- (Dish pins are withdrawn) - states 1 and 2
- Withdraw the plate pins. The springs expand downwards pushing down the plate and the rack attached to it underneath. The buffer springs are compressed in the process.
The rack engages with the pinion.
The pinion then rotates thus activating the belt-pulley mechanism. The drive wheel on the ground starts rotating and the trolley starts moving.
- The trolley travels from B1 to B2 (state 3)
- The trolley arrives at B2 (state 4)
- The operator engages the two dish pins (left and right)
- The operator engages the two plate pins (left and right)
- The trolley is at rest at B2 (state 4)
The mechanical setup during the transit of the trolley between Bay 1 and Bay 2,
that is state 3 and
state 4,
