3. Database access

The database is accessed by typing in a search term in German or English in a query page. If the term is found in the DB the record for that term is displayed on a separate page. To enter another query the user must return to the query page. The query is shown in Fig. 1. The query results are shown in Fig. 2. The topic or subject matter under which the term was stored is output at the top of the page, followed by the German and English for the term and any other information about the term in the DB.
