I think this is a true story. It's about a butcher who worked in a meat factory, where he was employed cutting meats and hams and curing bacon and the like. Anyway, one day he cut himself at work and had to go to the doctor to get a few stitches. When he was at the doctor's the doctor asked him:
"What do you do at the factory?"
And back came the reply:
"I'm bit like yourself, doctor, kill'n a few and cure'n a few."
I thought it was a good one!
